Ghostbusted 2!

PART 2

So all the crazy stuff stopped. I was trying to compose myself. Wats next then? I asked God, why me, why did I get attacked again?? This is my THIRD time getting this!! Is it because I’m the weakest link in my prayer group? So devil chose to attack me? In a midst of the craziness just now, I hear a voice, unpleasant evil toned voice, asking me to quit the hospital ministry because I’m weak and don’t fit the group. So I wondered and consider quitting, I wondered and wondered.. Then GOD spoke to me in an audible voice: ‘Devil is not stupid, why should he attack the weakest link? Won’t it be easier if he attacked the leader? Cause once the leader fall, all members fall too’. So God answered me.. Then I asked again why me then?? GOD replied ‘This is to help you grow in faith, the other members in the group are all deeply mature in faith, you’ll need that kinda deep faith to serve in the ministry’. I was blown away with that reply. What a God we have. One who’s always there to speak and teach you. Some might argue that I made all this up in my mind.. I can only say, first, when your friends, family or someone you know calls your name from your back, you’ll recognize them through their voice, hence when God calls, I know and recognize is Him. John 10:6. Secondly, there is no way that I can take this kinda of experience as a positive learning experience? I mean, humanly if we’re attacked by a ghost and the ghost told us to stop doing something, won’t I be scared to mad and do as the ghost say? NOT for me because the spirit of THE LORD OF LORD AND KING OF KING IS WITH ME. What is there to fear? Then out of curiosity I asked God: ‘Why didn’t devil switch the mosquito repellent on himself? Why he made me do it?’ God replies ‘he wanted you to think that you tried to kill yourself in sleep and God was not there to protect you’. Oh man, I thought the devil is once again out smarted by God. So after all this, is it the end? After all that happen, what else could happen?? Now here is what happen next.

“ RISE AND CHASE HIM OUT OF YOUR HOUSE. CHASE HIM TO YOUR GLASS WINDOW AND HE’LL BE GONE” God said.

??Rise and what? I was shocked when I heard that, I feel heat and electric shocks flowing up my body to my hands and head. I feel on fire. Yet in my mind I was imagining all kinda possible look that the ghost/ demon have..Will it look like ‘The ring’? ‘The eye’? ‘Ju on’…you name it.. This is what unfaithfulness do to you :(

Doubts started to creep in my head. God is there, telling me to go forth, FOR HE IS WITH ME. Mark 6:7 “…He sent them out two by two and gave them authority over Jesus’s name”. So I rose in faith, took a deep breath and prayed, and opened the door and walked out of my room! As I wall out the hallway it was dark. I quicken my steps and….I walked, and.. I detoured into my toilet..

Alamak.. There was still a bit fear in me. How to drive demons out?? First time man.. Before this just pray and it’s gone. Now prayed but it is outside my room..So I decided to take a leak. (Excuse to regain composure again la) As I was doing my business, God suddenly flash a scene to me. I see clearly Senior Pastor Dr. Daniel Ho, stand on the stage, pointing his finger towards the air, proclaiming loudly, “All DUMC members are ghostbusters!” And there I was down there sitting in the front row (favourite spot, directly behind senior pastor. Wanna steal his anointing :P) shouting loudly ‘Amen, We are ghostbuster!’. Immediately after the scene, I feel the fire again. I feel no more fear. I rose in faith and ran out of the toilet to chase the ghost once again.

As I turn back, I saw big piece of white figure flew across my toilet door. I ran out after it immediately. Before I reached the glass window, I saw the curtains moving. As if the ghost flew out of the house. I move towards it and prayed “ In authority of Jesus’s name, the true living Son of God, I cast you to Jesus’s feet and you’ll be trampled to dust, Amen!’ After ‘Amen’ I could feel joy and sense of victory. I just know that from that moment onwards, no longer I fear any ghost or evil spirits that intends to scare us.

Isiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand”

The Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and lots more other religion handle this sort of problems by calling another stronger ghost to displace the current one, or by calling another spirit to protect us. Calling spirit such as ancestor’s (father, grandfather, great grandfather) spirit into the house or what they call the ‘good’ spirit. And the best part is the medium, monks and bomohs do not even have a clue on what spirit they called in. Now take a step behind and look… Digest it with a sane mind. Calling another stronger ghost to displace ghost? A worse to displace bad? An unknown to replace and unknown so basically no one knows whats going on? Some argue but the monks/medium/bomoh knows my dead grandfather’s name, hobbies and all so accurately, so it is my grandfather! My reply to you is of cause they know about your grandfather. If you communicate with an evil spirits that dwells in your house for generations after generations, would he not know who’s your grandfather? If the spirit has been there long enough he can even tell you about your great grandfather. Now imagine one day you wake up and see your dead grandfather sitting next to you will you not freak out?? Will you run to him and embrace him? Of cause you won’t! And if he is your real grandfather why are you so scared?? Because deep in you, you know is not!! He’s a ghost, the evil spirit that dwells in your house knows him, lived with him hence can mimic him.

But Jesus said, call unto him and all evil will be gone. No monks no medium. Just call unto Him. There’s power in Jesus’s name and even devil knows that.

Now this is Christian faith. World’s definition of faith is believing in yourself and you make things happen with your strength. Now how are you suppose to have earthly faith in this situation I ask? How? By taking out your money to lure the ghost away? By telling the ghost your smarter than him? Or perhaps wrestle with it?? Do not say you don’t believe with it for that shall only tempt the devil. Etc will Man U not try to win harder when Chelsea say they’re not good enough? Will you not strive to prove yourself when ppl say your not good enough? Don;t tempt devil.

Now honestly, don’t we want that kind of victorious life? Instead of listening to ghost stories and tremble in fear, we choose to cast devil out. Fear crippled us but Jesus’s name gives us victory. I challenge all Christians to rise up to do the same. I did not get this experience because I’m holier than anyone nor I’m better. In fact I got this because I’m weak and useless and only Christ can help me. Only Christ is my strength, my shield and my salvation. Only because I really want to see God, He immediately appeared to me!
